Today was a very important day in our Church life. Today we opened our newly rebuilt and refurbished centre following a year of building work and many (many) years of planning and preparation.
This is a massive step for Boston and hopefully will mean the Salvation Army in the town will grow and be able to develop its service to the people.
I was designated “official photographer” for the opening event and was very nervous when it came to getting my camera out and trying to take pictures – I was so worried they wouldn’t come out right. But now I’ve been through them all I’m happy they have come out well.
06/03/10: The rebuilt and refurbished Salvation Army in Boston – now officially open.
