King of Belvoir Castle

This afternoon we decided to chance the weather and go for a walk.

After looking online for some set walks (we fancied doing one where someone else had done the route information!) we decided to head for the Belvoir area:

The route was 4.8 miles and the instructions were very easy to follow (although due to a change in road layout on the bridge at the end of 2 you walk up to the road before it rather than after it). We walked along tow paths, across fields and through woodland – it was really lovely.

Here are some photos I took on the route.

If you live anywhere near Woolsthorpe you should definitley give this walk an afternoon – it took us about 1 hour 40 mins.
