The thing that struck me first about these, and the reason I decided to go for this, is that the candles are presented in paint cans. They look great, especially when lit and you see the light shining through the little holes in the side. But they also look great not lit, an interesting quirky design well away from the traditional glass jar you normally get candles in. They have wooden wicks, and being soy wax burn for up to 50 hours, which is much longer than a traditional candle.
These aren’t just designed to look good – they are designed to improve a persons mood, cognitive functions and wellness. This particular one is for relaxation, and has therefore been mixed with suitable essential oils. I love having a scented candle burning and found the subtle scent of this one quite pleasant, it’s just there in the background.
This candle is priced at £23, and you can get “inspiration” and “vitality” versions too. The range includes other candle types too. See the full range of Munio Candela on the mypure website.
