Cosy Tea Competition
This competition is now closed. I have published all eligible comments made before the closing date/time and will announce the two winners soon. Good luck!
The lovely people at Beyond the Bean have donated two complete sets of the Cosy Tea range for me to give away to Splodz Blogz readers.

The set will contain one of each of the nine Cosy Tea organic tea flavours, including those three black teas I enjoyed far too much in my review (go read it!).
To enter you need to describe your perfect cup of tea in a comment on this blog post.
I know Sarah Millican would say it’s nice to drink a cuppa in the bath so you’re the same temperature on the inside as on the outside… but for me it would be sipping a good cup of Earl Grey whilst sat down on the sofa after a long walk in the countryside. It’s difficult to decide though, I’ll happily drink tea any time (and yes, including in the bath!).
Make sure you enter by 8pm on Friday 17th February for your entry to count, and take a note of the rules below.

#38 written by Kate Cunningham 3 months agoI don’t drink tea too often but when I do I’m like Goldilocks and it has to be just right – too strong or too weak and I will start again! I like the tea pot to be warmed first and then the tea to sit for just the right length of time before pouring. I do put the milk in afterwards which goes against tradition but I like to get the colour the way I like it. I prefer English Breakfast and I often take it on holiday with me but different water and milk does affect it.
When tea is right it is the best, most refreshing drink in the world – it heats you up, cools you down and calms any situation. -

Loved my cuppa the other night, watching the snow fall out of our cosy living room window with my daughter (aged 3 – just!) who was spotting penguins.. In the middle of London! Best cup of tea I’ve ever enjoyed. Needless to say, I didnt see any penguins, maybe I missed them all as I was indulged in my tea?!

#63 written by K W 3 months agoI love most kinds, but lately I really like chai teas-sorry for namedropping, but Teapigs chai and chilli chai are a particular favourite for this! I have a specific mug for tea/coffee, it’s got a frowny face made of coffee beans which portrays how I often feel before I get my drink! I pour a bit of milk in and microwave it (yeah, I know) so it’s just as hot as the boiled water, then I hold the teabag over the milk and pour the hot water over. It’s left to infuse for as long as I feel like waiting, then I add a bit of cinnamon, a teaspoon of honey, and sometimes a little bit of vanilla sugar. It’s amazing!

My perfect cup of tea is a cup of green tea in the morning. It has to be in my special mug as for some reason it doesn’t feel as good. As I take my first sip I feel the green tea’s journey as it flows down my throat to my chest and finally stomach. All the while anticipating its benefits as I ponder the day ahead.

#83 written by Elizabeth 3 months agoI’m on drugs that dry my mouth out, especially overnight so nothing beats that first (enormous) cup of tea in the morning. Has to be English Breakfast Tea with just the right amount of skimmed milk (fresh – NEVER UHT) and a sprinkle of sugar. Aahhh. The other cuppa I cherish is that ‘just got home from being on holiday, the flight was late, the roads jammed, everything in my case needs washing and I’m back at work tomorrow and I know my inbox will be overflowing, but never mind because I can have a perfect cup of English tea’.

My perfect cup of tea is the first ne in the morning. I use the special tea for hard water, as ours is so very hard, and brew it properly in a pot. Served quite strong with no sugar and a splash of skimmed milk (it has to be skimmed, anything else spoils the flavour of the tea for me) it’s a treat worth getting out of bed for.

#111 written by sue willshee 3 months agoMy ideal cuppa would be after a long session outside having a snowball fight with the kids. When my nose is glowing and fingers are about to drop off from the cold I love to come inside and settle down with a cup of hot tea.
I know some people drink tea to cool down in summer but I much prefer to use it to warm me up in winter instead

I usually only drink tea by choice when I’m pregnant, so my ideal up of tea would be sat with my feet up enjoying feeling my little one wriggle.
