You all know that I love Converse shoes and would have hundreds of pairs if I was allowed. But I’m not. Shame. Massive shame. Although if I bought all the ones I said I loved on Splodz Blogz I’d be pretty broke. Anyway, I thought it was about time I looked at what was out there ready for the summer…
I love these orange Star Players – well the Spartoo website says they’re red but they look pretty orange to me in the picture, difficult to tell though unless you have them infront of you. Not too bright but very summery these would work really nicely with light linen trousers or comfy shorts, as well as jeans, so are perfect holiday wear.
I keep seeing people in yellow. It must be the in colour at the moment. So how about these bright and cheerful Chuck Taylor low tops? These will make anyone’s eyes go straight to your feet and will put a smile on your face for sure. Be careful the rest of your outfit doesn’t clash though!
If you only buy one pair of trainers or pumps this season (and let’s face it most of us can only buy one pair!), I say make them a pair of white Chuck Taylor low tops. A complete classic but also up to any modern style standard, they are a must.
You can team these white ones with just about anything from jeans to cute summer dresses and with any colour. Effortless style for the town or the beach, and wherever in the world you are holidaying this year. These are the ones I’ll be getting, oh and when I say getting I mean they’re already here…
(I bet they don’t stay that white for very long!)

I just started wearing Converse this year, needed something casual to wear with jeans and now love them. Have 2 pairs so far in the collection but I get to travel to California every so often for work and there is a Converse outlet shop near the office so am buying more whenever I go. They had 2 pairs for $50 last time I went 🙂
