I’m done with the winter now. I’m done with the snow, and the rain. And I’m fed up of frankly rubbish summers. With no holiday abroad to look forward to this year I am dreaming of a beautiful summer so I can shut my boots away in the cupboard, maybe even the loft, and get out some gorgeous summery shoes. I don’t think I wore flip flops in the UK at all in 2012.
Hopefully though, to make up for the disgusting weather we’re having at the moment, we’ll get lots of opportunity in the months to come to show off our feet and saunter around in flip flops. Oh to be wandering along the beach, across meadows, through town centres wearing something bright and colourful and lovely.
