Oh Autumn you are such a beautiful season. You give me so many opportunities to enjoy the change from summer to winter. You are so colourful with your browns, reds and oranges. And you are the signal I need to put my summer shoes away and get out my favourite kind of footwear – boots.
This year I thought I might purchase something of an investment. I think the time has come to treat myself to a pair of UGG Australia boots. But bearing in mind what the UK weather can be like, I’m after a pair of waterproof ones that might last more than five minutes if I wear them and get caught in a shower!
This is the UGG Kensington. Not brushed suede here but rather a burnished leather upper. They have a definite air of luxury about them – warm thick natural insulation with a decent sole for autumn and through into winter. I love the chocolate brown version, a colour that will go with everything. The buckles appeal to the biker in me. I wonder if they’ll fit over my wide calf?
I am very tempted but always worry about this type of boot. Have you got a pair of waterproof UGGs? Are they actually waterproof?! Are they worth the hefty price tag?

I would love a pair of UGGs but sadly can’t justify the cost… I don like the look of the waterproof ones (just what we need with all this rain)

Yes they are very expensive. Do you not like the slightly shiny leather look? I guess it does look a bit worn.
