Hands up if you had fun putting elastic bands around t-shirts and dying them in a buckets of bright blue, purple and pink dye when you were a kid? I know I did! Well it appears Converse have bought themselves a box of elastic bands… meet this season’s take on the All Star.
What do you reckon? Are tie die Converse a retro style gone too far? Or genius use of the blank canvas that is a Converse sneaker? Personally I don’t care too much for the pink or bright blue ones, but I do quite like these blue low tops –
I could see me wearing these with jeans or leggings for a stroll around the city – way more interesting than boring dark blue but not in your face like the ones at the top.
Would you choose these? I’m half expecting some of you to tell me you’ve customised your plain white All Stars in this way…!

Oh, they’re pretty nifty. Alas Converse have always been too narrow for my paddle-like feet!

I like them. It’s a nice design idea. Personally, I prefer Vans (and just bought a red pair) but these are nice.
