Love the outdoors? Hate having wet feet? Don’t seem to be able to find the perfect pair of Wellington boots to match your personality? Here’s your chance…!
Joules have launched a great competition inviting all budding designers, doodlers and wellington boot lovers to design some wellies. This is your chance to put your stamp on hundreds of people’s feet (including your own!) by putting your design skills into practice and coming up with the next Joules pattern.
The winner will see their design put into production (with all proceeds going to CHARITABLY JOULES) as well as winning a luxury Forest Holiday worth £5000 – the perfect opportunity to make use of your new boots.
I had a go… naturally I started with a green welly base, and then used the freehand drawing tool to give my boots that hint of sunshine and rain.
What do you think? Would you wear those?! No I’m not sure either… I reckon you could probably do a lot better!

The overall winner will receive a outdoorsy holiday, which sounds fabulous, and there are also sizeable voucher prizes for 10 runners up which should help you get kitted out in cosy things to help you get outside and enjoy the countryside. Please note I have received a gift to encourage me to publicise this competition. But I have really entered and quite fancy seeing my design for sale the shops! And the fact that the limited edition design will be a charity product is a good thing, too.
