Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Face Masque

Review: Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Face Masque

0

LincsGeek and I don’t do Valentine’s Day. We like to think that our love is obvious and doesn’t require a throw-away card or bunch of very expensive flowers to confirm it. Cards and gifts are lovely, but personally I much prefer a surprise something rather than a “because my diary told me I had to” gift.

Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Face Masque

I have received a Valentine’s card though… from Montagne Jeunesse – awwww you shouldn’t have! It contained one of their Passion Peel Off face masques. Combining pomegranate and passion flower, along with raspberry, grape and cranberry, this particular mask is designed to tackle blemishes and leave skin feeling fresh and ready for close personal contact!!

Tackling all my blemishes is a bit of an ask but this is another lovely, strong fruity smelling, relaxing yet invigorating product from Montagne Jeunesse. Since receiving my first mask from them a little while ago now I am definitely converted – they are a lovely way to spend a few minutes of “me time”. At just over £1 they are a complete bargain, definitely worth a try.

Montagne Jeunesse Exotic Fruits

Montagne Jeunesse specialise in pampering for your face – they have now launched some exotic fruit face masks.

Montagne Jeunesse

There are three peels in the new range – Prickly Pear Peel Off; Pawpaw Peel Off and Dragon Fruit Sauna. Each one uses unusual but beneficial all-natural ingredients, and are of course vegetarian and animal friendly.

Designed to use once a week (they make a fabulous Sunday night treat to help banish those Sunday night blues), they are very easy to apply and give you 15 minutes or so to yourself. I’ve got one on right now (it’s Sunday night) and I can feel it drying on my face, tightening my skin. And it smells fantastic too, a treat for my nose too.

Of the three I particularly liked the Dragon Fruit Sauna mask – it was warming and my skin felt really clean afterwards. They are £1.29 each and so a lovely way to treat yourself.

Disclaimer: I was sent one of each of the new Montagne Jeunesse Exotic Fruits range to try out. I have not been told what to write and have been no less honest as a result of receiving them for free.

Montagne Jeunesse Face Masques

Montagne Jaunesse have recently launched two new “ground-breaking” face masques. They sent me one of each to try out – I like reviews that force me to take some relax for a few minutes!

The Dead Sea Mud Spa and Glacial Clay Spa masques are said to deliver a unique and enhanced cleansing experience. They are designed to give you a really deep cleanse, right down into the pores, and to give you a boost.

To use a masques like this first remove make up and cleanse skin as you would normally do. Unfold the mask, lean back, relax and put the mask on your face, patting it down for maximum contact. Leave it to work for 10-15 minutes to cool and calm your skin. Remove and gently massage in any excess liquid. Finally, splash face with cold water and pat dry.

I used both masques on consecutive weekends to try and banish the Sunday night blues. The Dead Sea Mud Spa masque incorporates seaweed to boost skin. Using this one was my first attempt at a face mask like this and it didn’t go on quite right to start with, but I think I rectified it ok and after just a minute I could really feel it working. I felt fantastic when I took it off. I don’t expect miracles – I’ve got problem skin like no other – but my face felt wonderful. The Glacial Clay Spa is described as anti-oxidant thanks to the rich red grape and Arctic cloudberry juices from the glacial heights of Scandinavia. Definitely my favourite of the two, it was really cooling and invigorating.

The challenge from Montagne Jaunesse is to use on one of these products once a week – giving yourself 15 minutes of nothing to just sit and relax. At just under £1.50 each I might be converted to the home spa idea; a nice treat and one that definitely helped me relax in readiness for another busy week at work.

Disclaimer: I was sent these two new Montagne Jaunesse masques so I could try them and let you know about them. I have not been told what to write and I have been no less honest as a result.
