Haiti

I’m sure you won’t have failed to see or hear the news of what has happened in Haiti following a massive earth quake.

It is hard to comprehend just what an expected 50,000 dead looks like. Unfortunately those who survived at the heart of the disaster know exactly what that looks like as they mourne their loved ones.

I felt I should put something here about the relief efforts and a way you can donate if you so choose.

You can either donate via the Desasters Emergency Committee (DEC) fund http://www.dec.org.uk/ or The Salvation Army’s fund http://www.salvationarmyhaiti.org/. Most charities and aid organisations are also running donation schemes to try and get the help needed to the people of Haiti.

Pray for help and comfort for those who survived this natural disaster, and a dignified exit for those people who didn’t.
