Those of you who know me know that last July I went on a Motorbike trip from John o’Groats to Land’s End with some family and friends to raise money for charity.
We rode from Lincolnshire up to John o’Groats, down to Land’s End and then back home again, taking us nine days to ride around 2,225 miles. And what a ride! I rode a Harley-Davidson Sportster Nightster I was loaned by Lincoln Harley-Davidson, and loved it. All except the rain that is.
The reason for this post is to say we now have the final total raised from our trip and it is a massive £2317.55. Wow! Half of the money is going to The Salvation Army in Boston, and the other half to Macmillan Cancer Support in Lincolnshire.
