I went for a walk at lunch time and came across a couple of “olduns” feeding the ducks. I’m glad I stood there for a moment because what happened next I think just totally shocked the pair of them… suddenly flocks of pigeons and loads of swans descended on the pile of bread and started fighting over it. It was over in a few seconds but I managed to get a quick snap.

I know that was my pic of the day but I also wanted to share this closer up shot of the mawl that was the pigeons (although not quite at the same moment as the one above). I’m so glad I’ve got a little point and shoot digital camera I keep in my handbag!
