Sprinting for the Line

Well here it is… my finishers certificate for the City of Lincoln 10k on Sunday 21st March 2010.

Photos were taken near the finish line by www.marathon-photos.com.  They seem a bit expensive to buy to me, so this is the thumbnail from their website (if you also ran you just need your bib number to see photos of yourself!).

I was really going for it trying to make up valuable seconds right at the end.  That final bit across the cobbles is a real killer, I swear that’s what made my knees so sore for the last couple of days.

“When” I manage to do the 10k in under an hour I think I’ll buy a photo (providing I don’t look like an idiot!) and put it on the wall in my downstairs loo!!
