There is something extremely satisfying about working all day and being able to look back when it’s all done and see the results.
Today my other half an I set about sorting the mess that is our garden out. I don’t think I’ve done any weeding since the autumn… the shame! He cut the grass and then got the bike ready for our trip next weekend – my job was the beds. It took hours – at least four – all afternoon. But it was worth it. The brown bin (garden waste) is now full but the garden looks sooooo much better – I discovered we have actual plants in amonst the horrible stuff!
The bunnies didn’t seem impressed that I was throwing the “good stuff” away and leaving the pretty rubbish (they sat watching with total dismay on their faces!), but hey I’m sure it’ll grow back!
12/06/10: The result of a hard day working in the sunshine… might not look that amazing but I’m pleased with it!
