Year in Photos (17 Jun 2010)

Tonight I had a really fantastic time seeing The Proclaimers at The Engine Shed in Lincoln.  It’s the first time I’ve been to a smaller gig there, it’s a really great venue.

The support act was The Misers, who I really enjoyed and will definitely be buying their album.  And The Proclaimers were just brilliant. I don’t know if I should admit that my first album wasn’t a Bon Jovi, Ash, Queen, or by any other band – but it was a Proclaimers one!  I remember seeing them on Going Live I think it was and I was really excited about getting the tape!!  Yes… tape!!

Anyway, my year in photos pic is one I took at the gig this evening.

17/06/10: The Proclaimers at The Engine Shed

If you’re wondering, and you’re probably not, but if you were (!) there were two songs that really stood out for me this evening.  One was Sunshine on Leith because it’s just gorgeous, and the other I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) because it’s the one everyone was waiting for and the noise (singing?!) by the crowd was loud!

Here’s Sunshine on Leith if you don’t know the one I mean…

And some more pics from the evening…
