We went on a walk in the Lincolnshire countryside (not flat due to the ridge and furrow cultivation of the past) this afternoon and our route took us past the site of an old Medieval settlement. Here’s some of it…
On the board pointing out the site was this poem, which we thought was pretty good, so I thought I’d share it:
