mypure Review – Alva Handcream

The final product I tested for mypure in January was the Alva Handcream.

£2.70 for 18ml

The whole point of me getting this was to give me some handcream I can keep in my handbag.  Winter plays havoc on my hands, as with everyone, and so having some handcream there whenever I feel my hands getting dry is just what I need.  And this 18ml tube is perfect.

The cream is thick and smells lovely – the avacado oil, marigold and chamomile work well as a scent as well as being the active ingredients.  Billed as perfect for dry and rough hands, I was more than happy with how this made my hands feel – especially around my knuckles where I do get cracked skin when the weather is particularly cold.  It was also great and helping my cuticles to soften up.

I have tested this cream over the last 10 days, just using it when I’m out and about (when at home or work I have larger tubes of on available) and I can barely get anything out of the tube anymore… so I think it’s pretty much all gone.  I’d say that was ok though – it’s been a very cold week and I forgot my gloves a couple of days which of course makes things worse for my hands.
