Our new lens for the D3100 arrived today – a Nikon 55-300mm zoom lens. We had a 300mm zoom lens for the Sigma SD14 and it was something I was keen to get as quickly as possible when we decided to change cameras. I’ve still not really had time to properly play with the new Nikon but I did briefly take a few shots with it and the new lens before the light went. This was taken (hand held) of my parsley plant a good few metres away – I was impressed with the focussing.
