The shops are already full of clothing and accessories for Autumn/Winter 2011. Yes it’s only August and we’re actually getting some sunshine right now – but if you’re like me and you have to think carefully and save for purchases, then now is a good time to start looking.
Amongst the Autumn/Winter 2011 Shoe Collection at Next are a number of really nice designs that will certainly be on my wishlist for next season…
These Ginger Buckle Ankle Boots (£65) are leather, have a 10cm heel, and will look fab under jeans or over leggins later in the year. This is a great colour, different to your standard tan boots, and will brighten up a dull day… but don’t wear in the rain!
I love the blue of these Teal Platform Long Boots (£95) – colour does seem to be an important factor for AW2011. Leather uppers in two textures, with a 12cm heel, these will look fabulous over skinnies for casual or teamed with a woollen dress for the office. Of the whole collection, these are my current favourite.
I could see myself towering tall in these Tan Wedge Loafers (£40). The loafer has really come back this summer, and this is a great twist for next season. Team with trousers or a fab skirt and jumper combo and feel smart and very tall.
These Orange Chop-Out Wedges (£50) are perfect for days when socks aren’t necessary. The wedge means you can wear them all day. Personally I’d wear these with thick black tights and a winter dress. These would also work for day to evening.
