Espadrilles

I noticed espadrilles more than ever last summer and now this year they are everywhere.

I don’t have a pair. Yet. But I have a number of them on my wish list. I was hoping you could help me decide which of this kind of shoes I should get?

Here are my current choices…

These black or blue espadrilles by Havaianas I’m told are very comfortable. Made by the brand famous for flip flops they have used the same sole on these so you are effectively walking on sandals. I like the shape and they look light.

These espadrilles by Art of Soule have the more traditional rope sole that you associate with the style. The sand would look great with jeans but I really love the bright orange, very summery.

Or these are more unusual – lace up espadrilles by S.Oliver. I like the idea of them being a bit different – very casual and a tad nautical. I could wander along the sand in these.

What do you think? Which should I go for? Have you seen some others I should look at? Or should I just go for a pair of navy blue Toms? Let me know by commenting below.

I like the look of the blue havianas, they have a classic look and feel but also are a bit nautical

Well I have a pair of black ones and a pair of red/orangey ones – both with the rope style sole – really comfy, not waterproof as I have discovered today… But mine were 2 for £10 at New Look so nothing like the quality the ones your looking at are 🙂 but get the orange ones – they’ll go with jeans as well 🙂 xx

Love the orange ones but in this weather I reckon a pair of Wellies would be a better buy! 🙂
