No Budget Shoes

A couple of weeks ago I posted about £20-25 shoes in the sale. Today in a fit of whimsy I wondered what I would wear on my feet if I didn’t have to think about how much things cost. So I put my credit card out of reach and went in…

These Rupert Sanderson ankle boots caught my eye straight away. A lovely tall thin heel with buckle detail on the upper – I could just imagine strutting my stuff in these as autumn comes in. They will set you back £548.

These high boots by Ellen Verbeek also have buckles. They the brown leather design would do for both smart and casual wear – £359 if you fancy a pair. I really like the shape of the heel – nice and wide and flat I reckon I could happily wear these all day without a second thought.

Because it’s still summer (honest!), how about this fabulous colourful sandals from Missoni? They have the most gorgeous cylinder coloured heel. They’d look great with a beautiful summer dress. £361.

If you prefer a flat shoe for day wear how about these cute little courts, also by Missoni? Really elegant. £279.

You’ll be pleased to know that my bank balance survived… I shouldn’t make a habit of looking at the most expensive styles available!
