Converse for Autumn

With the storm we’re having while I’m writing this – dark and wet and scary (I don’t like thunder and lightening!) – I thought it was a good opportunity to mention the new Converse I recently treated myself to.

Canvas shoes aren’t the best choice for wet days if you don’t like getting wet feet, and so these leather Low Top trainers by Converse are a really good alternative.

Brown and Black Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars

With leather uppers you still get all the comfort of a Converse trainer but without the easily-soaked-through material. They might even last longer – leather does have a durable reputation but I know my canvas Converse have already lasted years and years.

It was a close call between the all-black version and these brown and black ones. The two tone brown/black Chuck Taylor All Stars won in the end as they were a bit different but still have the traditional Converse look I love so much.

Mine get worn (a lot) with most kinds of outfits, especially jeans. For some reason I just can’t beat a pair of Converse at the moment and I will wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone.

Bring on the puddles!
