Montagne Jeunesse Face Masques

Montagne Jaunesse have recently launched two new “ground-breaking” face masques. They sent me one of each to try out – I like reviews that force me to take some relax for a few minutes!

The Dead Sea Mud Spa and Glacial Clay Spa masques are said to deliver a unique and enhanced cleansing experience. They are designed to give you a really deep cleanse, right down into the pores, and to give you a boost.

To use a masques like this first remove make up and cleanse skin as you would normally do. Unfold the mask, lean back, relax and put the mask on your face, patting it down for maximum contact. Leave it to work for 10-15 minutes to cool and calm your skin. Remove and gently massage in any excess liquid. Finally, splash face with cold water and pat dry.

I used both masques on consecutive weekends to try and banish the Sunday night blues. The Dead Sea Mud Spa masque incorporates seaweed to boost skin. Using this one was my first attempt at a face mask like this and it didn’t go on quite right to start with, but I think I rectified it ok and after just a minute I could really feel it working. I felt fantastic when I took it off. I don’t expect miracles – I’ve got problem skin like no other – but my face felt wonderful. The Glacial Clay Spa is described as anti-oxidant thanks to the rich red grape and Arctic cloudberry juices from the glacial heights of Scandinavia. Definitely my favourite of the two, it was really cooling and invigorating.

The challenge from Montagne Jaunesse is to use on one of these products once a week – giving yourself 15 minutes of nothing to just sit and relax. At just under £1.50 each I might be converted to the home spa idea; a nice treat and one that definitely helped me relax in readiness for another busy week at work.

Disclaimer: I was sent these two new Montagne Jaunesse masques so I could try them and let you know about them. I have not been told what to write and I have been no less honest as a result.
