Ever thought that a Mars Bar has too many layers? Worry no more! Mars has brought out a 100% caramel version.
The bar itself (I got mine at my local Spar shop for 2 for 90p) is smaller than a standard Mars bar – the same length but flatter. It is just the caramel layer after all.
I have to say I really enjoyed this. Fairly thick Mars chocolate around the outside, thick and fluid Mars caramel on the inside. It couldn’t be simpler.
I’m not sure we really need another Mars bar version, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the normal one, but I did enjoy this and will mostly likely buy another one or two while they are available.

My first instinct was hmmm it looks like a giant caramel keg, then I wondered if it would be a bit sickly. I’ve no doubt I will have to try one to see !

I didn’t find it sickly, it still tasted like a mars bar which was strange. Worth a try…

I picked up a pack of 4 for only £1 over the weekend and have just eaten my first one. It was a bit tougher than a regular mars bar due to the thick caramel filling. I love caramel so I enjoyed this bar, it just felt like something was missing as I ate it. (Which it was, of course)
