Ahhhh, New Year’s Day. The one day of the year when we are all filled with anticipation; we are overflowing with good intentions.
I don’t know whether you have made any resolutions, or set goals, or written a list of things you’d like to do this year. Even if you haven’t promised yourself something because of the time of year, I know that you will at least wish for things, want things, dream of things.
The question is what are you going to do now to make those things become reality?
I remember once been told that we don’t get to heaven on our good intentions. It’s one of those statements that has stuck with me, and it it is something we should all remember.
It doesn’t matter what our goal is, thinking about it, writing it down or even telling someone else what it is won’t make it happen.
Unless we act upon our hopes and dreams they are nothing and will become nothing.
Take real and methodical steps to make whatever it is you want to achieve a reality.
I’d better start listening to my own advice!!
