Ever struggle to decide between curry and pizza for your Saturday night takeaway? Thanks to Curry Dave you no longer have to make that difficult decision. Their new Indian flatbread pizzas offer the flavours of popular currys.

Each pizza has a naan bread base with curry sauce and other toppings along with grated mozzerella. There are currently four flavours – Chicken Madras, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, and Spinach and Sweet Potato.

Taking just 8-10 minutes in the oven, they have a nice bread base with plenty of topping. If you don’t want a soggy bottom I’d recommend just putting the flatbread straight on your oven shelf rather than on a baking tray or pizza stone – we found they cooked much better that way. The spicy Spinach and Sweet Potato was my favourite, something a bit different, although they could all do with more sauce for my liking.

The biggest downfall of these new takeaway replacements is that you can’t freeze them. With a fairly short fridge-life (mine lasted just under a week) they aren’t a useful replacement for your standard emergency pizza.

Thanks to Curry Dave for sending me the range of new Indian Flatbread Pizzas. You can find them at Waitrose and Ocado.
