You are invited to join me for a Picnic in the Park to celebrate National GetOutside Day and my GetOutside Activity Challenge.
In order to celebrate the first National GetOutside Day I have set myself a bit of a silly challenge to see how many outdoors activities I can squeeze into one weekend. From the moment I step out of work at 5pm on Friday I will be busy walking, gardening, camping, cooking, crafting, and generally playing the fool outdoors. My aim? To demonstrate the sheer volume and variety of activities there are outside – and that spending time outdoors, even for just an hour, is something that everything can do.
I’m fortunate that a good friend has decided she’s mad enough to want to join me on my challenge, it should make things a little easier (and more fun!), but I am hoping for some more company too – both real and virtual.
So… YOU are invited to join me for a Sunday afternoon Picnic in the Park.
I’ll be finishing my weekend long challenge with a picnic in the park, which will undoubtedly include some games and other activities too. I’d love you to join me… but you don’t have to live anywhere near me to come along.
It doesn’t matter where in the country you are, who you’re with, or how much time you have. Head to your local park (or even just out into your garden) for a picnic tea and join me in my GetOutside activity challenge to celebrate the great outdoors. We’ll be having ours at around 4pm, but you can have yours whenever fits in with your day.
Take your garden games, balls, books, and, of course, favourite picnic treats, and enjoy a One Hour Outside Sunday afternoon with me…
