I have to admit to being a bit of a fan of tv programmes such as X Factor, some call it “car crash” telly, but there is something about it that keeps me watching.
And of course last night saw the first in the new series of Britain’s Got Talent. The audition shows are the funniest, the producers are very good at picking out the best and worst to show for our viewing pleasure. Some make us laugh, some make us cringe, some make us want to hide behind a cushion.

But it did get me thinking… who actually lets these people audition? Especially the really bad ones. Do these people not have family or friends?! Does no one love them enough to tell them they shouldn’t do it?
I hope if a friend of mine who wasn’t particularly talented decided to go for something like that, I would have the love in my heart to tell them not to. I would want to at least warn them that the whole country would take the mickey for the next year!
I guess maybe someone did tell them and they decided to do it anyway? Or maybe they didn’t tell anyone they were going for it?
It does make good telly though, I can’t argue with that!
This isn’t a bad one… it has the cute factor!
