Every now and again I run giveaways here on Splodz Blogz. The following rules/terms and conditions apply to all those giveaways.

Any additional detail (including what the prize is, and how to enter), will be included in the giveaway post itself – please refer to both. 

Giveaway Terms and Conditions

  • The prize is as listed in the giveaway post. There is no cash alternative.
  • The competition is open to UK residents only.
  • The competition closes at 6pm on the date published on the giveaway post. I will draw the winner as close to this time as I can manage.
  • To enter the giveaway, you must follow the instructions in the giveaway post.
    • In most cases, this will involve commenting on Splodz Blogz – make sure you answer the given question or comment on the right topic.
    • Social media follows, shares and comments on my social media feeds are wonderful (please?!), but unless my giveaway is specifically running on instagram, these don’t count as entry into the giveaway.
    • There is always one entry per person regardless of the number of times you enter. This allows for conversations to take place in the comments.
  • Unless otherwise stated, my giveaway winner will be picked at random from all eligible entries (from the proverbial hat). It will not necessarily be my favourite comment.
  • Members of my immediate family cannot win, sorry guys. But you can comment, I love reading your comments!
  • I will contact the winner using the email address or other contact information provided when you enter. You must respond to that message within a reasonable period, after which I reserve the right to re-draw.
  • Prizes are sometimes sent by me (I cover postage), sometimes directly by my contact at the prize company.
  • Your details will only be used for the purposes of this competition. Unless you also choose to subscribe to Splodz Blogz when commenting, in which case you’ll get my new posts by email.
  • I will announce the winner at an appropriate time and place once things are sorted.

Please remember, I am just a one person hobby blogger, not a large giveaway-running organisation. Giveaways are meant to be fun and exciting, not make anyone grumble. Cheers!
