Come in Number 839…

Oh dear. This is it then. I have my race number. And my training since I announced I’d started the other day has consisted of one 3.5 mile run and one 1-hour badminton session. Hmmmm.

So I really need to get going don’t I?! Nine weeks to go on Sunday. But at least I am armed with a week off work and a free gym pass… the weather isn’t allowed to be my excuse this week! I’m still going for a time of less than 1 hour… it MUST be possible!

    The walkmeter thing or the ipods nike plus thing really motivates me, but otherwise get some great songs on your mp3 player, I have certain songs that really get my energy up. If you sort a playlist that you love the 10k will fly past in no time at all! 🙂 x

      I use runkeeper when I run on the road which tracks where I’m going. I definitely need a great playlist, that would definitely help. A kind friend has given me a couple of 3 day passes for our local gym so I’m off there this week… should give me a kick start!
