mypure Review – Alva COLEUR Makeup

This month, being December and time for a party or two, I chose to review a couple of items from the Alva Coleur Makeup range.

Organic Duo Eye-Shadow (Autumn Forest)

£11.95

Wellmune strengthens sensitive eyelids, whilst red grapevine extract protects the delicate skin tissue surrounding the eye area against UV damage.

Organic Deep Black Mascara

Mascara

£14.00

Alva Organic Deep Black Mascara boosts lash volume for exceptionally radiant eyes. Alva tell us this mascara is run-proof thanks to gum Arabic (acacia). Please review this product and let us know how you get on!

I have to say I was very happy with both products.

The eye shadow colours were great, and the pigment strong in colour and soft and easy to apply.

I found the two colours worked well on their own or together, and lasted the whole night – which of course is what you need at this time of year.  I would happily purchase other colours of the eye shadow at the price on the mypure website.

The mascara was jet black and made my lashes standout (I have blonde eye lashes), and with no clumps (compare the pics above and below, although neither are paricularly good photos, sorry!).

The shape of the mascara brush is pretty standard – no gimmicks like many mascaras out at the moment.  The finish you get is nice – it made my lashes look good but wasn’t particularly lengthening or volumising so perhaps more suited to everyday wear than for a party, but still a good product.

So far everything I have tried from the Alva Coleur Makeup range I have liked… what should I try next?
