Bottlepink for Breakthrough Breast Cancer

Bottlegreen have teamed up with Breakthrough Breast Cancer to turn into a particularly girly Bottlepink in this special edition drink.

This well known green company has turned pink for October 2011 which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, just like it did last October, to help raise awareness – and money.  The Pomegranate & Elderflower Cordial and Pomegranate & Elderflower Sparkling Pressé are in the unusual livery again, with 10% of each sale going to help Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s fantastic work.

Bottlegreen sent me the Sparking Pressé to try – and I have to say the bottle looks rather fabulous.  The pink tinted (of course) drink smells lovely and has a not-too-sweet fruitiness.  Elderflower is a strong flavour but it is used lightly here to compliment the pomegranate, making for an excellent refreshing alcohol-free meal accompaniment or relaxing treat.

You can buy Bottlepink throughout October from all the usual places, it’s well worth a taste.
