Smellies are a great gift for anyone, but if you are worried they might be seen as a bit dull, you need to check out Mad Beauty.

Mad Beauty are beauty experts offering a fantastic collection of cosmetics, cosmetic gifts and accessories, beauty products, women’s skincare products and professional Beauty products. Whether you are a beauty professional looking for professional beauty products, a gift business looking for unusual beauty gifts and accessories or if you are simply looking to buy a little treat for yourself, MAD beauty offer the most innovative products on the high street.

The thing about Mad Beauty that caught my attention was the range of quirky gifts that would make great little presents.  Lip balms and hand creams in all sorts of containers, little bags in the shape of corsets and knickers, hairbrushes with really cool designs on the back.

Mad Beauty were kind enough to send me a selection of items to share with Splodz Blogz readers to give you a flavour of what they have to offer…

Mad Beauty Toast and Jam Bodywash and Sponge

Mad Beauty Toast and Jam Bodywash and Sponge

This cute toast and jam body wash and sponge gift set (£6.99) comes packaged like a tiny little hamper with a bow around it.  The “jam” is a strawberry scented gel bodywash which has an amazing sweet fragrance.  The sponge is brown toast (better for you than white!) and gives a really good lather with the bodywash.  This is great to use in the shower in the morning, it has a really nice lather and such a sweet fragrance – but it is a little awkward as it’s a gloopy gel with a large lid rather than a squeezy bottle.  Oh and remember it’s not actually good enough to eat.

Mad Beauty Russian Doll Handcream

This Russian Doll Handcream (£6.99) looks fab sat on my desk at work.  It’s a small pot of handcream in a lovely Russian Doll pot – very cute.  Available in green, red or blue you’ll be wanting more than one!  The lid screws on well so this is fine for your handbag – much nicer than a boring old pot!  The handcream itself is really nice to use – moisturising with a traditional scent.

Mad Beauty Chocolate Soap

Chocoholic?  Need the scent of chocolate but without the temptation to eat it?  This Chocolate Soap (£3.99) has an authentic fragrance of chocolate fudge that’ll have you washing your hands over and over again… (I didn’t, honest!).

There are loads of other fantastic gifts on the Mad Beauty website too – you really should have a look.  I particularly like the wide range of lip balms and glosses, including the Glitter Stilliopo (£4.99), the Canvas Boot (£2.99) and of course the Mince Pie for Christmas (£2.99).  If you’re thinking about buying your Christmas gifts online this year, then I reckon you should add Mad Beauty to the list of sites you browse.  And let me know what your favourite quirky gift is!
