50 Days of Me

I love a challenge, and this year my New Years Resolution is all about being true to myself, so naturally I have been intrigued by the #50daysofme tag that is being used on twitter at the moment.

50 Days of Me is a fun challenge set by Jennie Frost of Beauty Cocoon which is meant to help you get to know yourself better, find out how you tick, think about what winds you up and what helps you relax. It is 50 days of getting to know you a little better.

Each day at around midday Jennie posts a question over on twitter, facebook and instagram. All you have to do is answer it. Simple. It’s a great idea and one that I hope to take part in daily – Jennie says getting to know yourself is a good way to build self-esteem, and I’m definitely up for that!

Here’s what I’ve learnt so far…

Day 1: What is your favourite moment of 2012? Being an Olympic torchbearer. A totally awesome (and bonkers) experience.

50 Days of Me Day 2 Question

Day 2: Beach, city or country? Definitely beach. I love the sea. Whatever the weather the sea has character, power and grace.

Day 3: If you could learn a language overnight, what would it be? Something like Russian or Greek – I’d love to learn a different alphabet.

Day 4: If you could do any job for one day, what would it be? Blue Peter Presenter!! They have so many cool adventures and get to try lots of new things.

Day 5: What’s the best gift you’ve ever given? The gift I was most excited about giving my other half was a one hour flying lesson with the local flying club. He loved it 🙂

Day 6: What was your favourite childhood toy? Ummm… Probably all my Lego, loved it. (My mum said it should be my Panda Teddy but I didn’t put that because he was not a toy!)

Day 7: What did you want to be when you were growing up? The same answer as one from earlier… I always wanted to be a Blue Peter presenter.

To join in (and there is still time, you’re not too late) head over to twitter, facebook or instagram and follow/like etc. Then watch out for the question each day at midday and get answering – I’m using the twitter route. Make sure you use the #50daysofme tag so people can see your answers.
