It might have been cyber Monday earlier this week, but there is still something about going into a real shop and doing your Christmas shopping the old fashioned touchy-feely way. And what better place to head than the BHS Christmas Shop? It’s one of those things that for me signals the start of the Christmas season, I remember wandering around the store in Canterbury when I was first allowed to go and do my own Christmas shopping, looking at all the gift ideas and decorations and making plans on what to get the different people in my life.
Every year since then I have always headed to BHS in whatever town I’ve been living in to see what ideas they have to inspire me. The bright colours, retro brands, hampers and gift sets never fail to make me smile.
Here are some of my picks from the Christmas Shop this year…
Heinz Grow Your Own Tomatoes Kit (£12) | Coca Cola Napkin Dispenser (£10) | 1kg Tin of Dolly Mixtures (£15) | Retro Popcorn Jar (£15) | Slab Toffee – with a Hammer!! (£6) | Mini Screw Driver (£6) | Bayliss and Harding Gown Gift Set (£25) | Nordic Baubal Tree (£20)
