After reading this post over on Skybiker’s blog earlier, I decided a lunchtime walk was in order. Just a short walk to get some fresh air in the middle of the day – with my phone in hand of course to get some snaps of pretty things along the way. I was only out for half an hour and so not really a photographic project, but I love my little city and so thought I’d share these images with you. The weather was a bit odd – dark skies one way, bright blue the other – meaning lighting was a bit changeable, but I hope you get a sense of the beauty of this little part of Lincoln through my quick shots.
All photos taken on my iPhone 5 and are as shot – no post production (I said the lighting was changeable!). Please ask if you wish to use these images for anything.

Oh, wow! Great idea for fun. Glad you got out and about. The pictures are excellent. I didn’t realize you were so close to such a pretty place. I’d like to visit it someday.

I like this idea of a photo walk during a lunch break. I tend to spend mine reading in the staff room at work. This sounds like a much better option. My area is detfinitely not as lovely as yours but I think I’ll give this idea of photo walk a try later this week.

Thank you 🙂 I do my best to get out of the office every day even when the weather is rubbish – you can’t beat fresh air as a midday pick-me-up. I bet you can find some lovely scenes within a few minutes of your office – let me know when you do!
